NAE Cleaning Solutions is hiring dependable and customer-focused Day Porters to provide professional commercial cleaning services at office buildings and business facilities throughout Austin, TX. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active, take pride in their work, and are committed to maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments.

As a Day Porter, you’ll be responsible for the ongoing cleanliness of client facilities during business hours. Daily responsibilities include mopping floors, cleaning glass, dusting surfaces, emptying trash, removing debris, cleaning and restocking restrooms, maintaining lobbies and common areas, and responding promptly to cleaning requests as they arise.

Our ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering exceptional cleaning services. Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, office cleaning, or custodial work is preferred. Familiarity with professional cleaning products, equipment, and safe cleaning practices is a plus.

Day Porter Duties & Responsibilities

We’re looking for dependable, professional individuals who take pride in delivering high-quality commercial cleaning services while creating clean, safe, and welcoming workplaces for our clients throughout Austin, TX.

As a Day Porter, you’ll help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of office buildings throughout the workday while ensuring a positive experience for our clients and their employees. This position offers opportunities for additional hours based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities include:

Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of lobbies, reception areas, hallways, and other common areas
Spot mop floors and place wet floor signs when needed
Vacuum entry rugs, walk-off mats, and carpeted areas
Clean interior glass, windows, and high-touch surfaces
Dust fixtures, furniture, countertops, and other surfaces
Empty trash and replace liners
Clean, sanitize, monitor, and restock restrooms throughout the day
Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning requests
Remove litter from entrances, sidewalks, and common areas
Refill restroom supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue
Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishing.
Follow company safety procedures and maintain high-quality cleaning standards
Provide courteous and professional customer service while working in occupied office buildings and commercial facilities

Day Porter Requirements & Qualifications

Qualified candidates should meet the following requirements:

Location: Multiple commercial office locations throughout the Austin, TX area. Reliable transportation is required.
